Hoping for a long weekend with water and trails, great cabin and access to good food.
Prefer not too far from S Louisiana.
What’s out there?

Ive stayed at the Little Red River and fished for trout in the tail waters. I wouldnt say great food. Heber Springs is a tiny town. October will be prime time fishing.
Also hiked the Eagle Rock Loop (30 miles I think) in December. It was very pretty for this part of the country.

Hot Springs meets most of you're reqs. Good fishing in Mountain Home or Heber Springs. Best trails are near Jasper. Eureka Springs is somewhat close to good food in NW AR. Hot Springs is close to LA and has good fishing/hiking/food
