I’ve been before but it’s been 20 years and I went just to party. I have a business trip there next month and I have 2 free afternoons/evenings. Staying by the convention center and will not have a car.was thinking about maybe renting a bike or something and just riding around downtown hitting bars for beer here and there. Maybe riding around UT campus.

Go see the bat's one evening. Dinner/drinks on the walk back.

I like plants, so the LadyBird Johnson national wildflower center was a great place to visit. Botanical garden dedicated to wildflowers south of town....

I went on one of the boat tours for the bats, I recommend doing that rather than standing around

Banger's on Rainey St has a great beer selection.
