Thinking about renting one to take to the LSU/A&M game. What should I be on the lookout for? Pros and Cons?

Buddies and I rented an RV for the Arkansas trip this week. We will see how it goes.

We’ve taken a sprinter or larger equivalent to the faggy game. You gotta pay the driver to wait during the game obviously. It is a shite show using texts to communicate with the crew to all get them together at the end. I was getting texts that were sent 30 minutes earlier, and nearly got left up there. And Uber to Katy isn’t cheap.

Indie Campers has a location somewhere in the area. Used them twice in Italy. Easy to work with. Get the insurance even if it is on top of your auto policy. Got dinged in Sorrento and the insurance saved my arse. They have class C type vehicles in the states.

Make sure the carbon monoxide sensor is in working order if you are going to use the generator. And if you are going to be at a football game overnight set up make sure you have proper equipment for generator to carry the exhaust up and above the RV. Its required in Baton Rouge in order to use your generator.

I've done Cruise America 3 or 4 times. No issues. They are fairly basic but IMO have everything you NEED. If you are going to sleep in one, I'd HIGHLY recommend going to Walmart or wherever and buying a cheap foam pad for $30-50 I think that's worth it. I'm not picky about a mattress but my wife is, but adding just a $30 topper made it incredibly comfortable compared to what it was to sleep on.

In my experience around the SEC (not 100% certain about the black-hole that is College Station though) is that most places have people that do things like this turn key.
They secure the parking pass, park it when appropriate then come get it on Sunday. You just show up and have fun. IMO, this is the way to go.
Get to and from more efficiently with far less variables that can go wrong.
