We’re here with our three year old, and wondering if it’s worth going out to the animal kingdom? We did Hollywood Studios this morning and it was mostly a waste of time for things to do for her. I appreciate the responses

Yes, animal kingdom is a great park for a 3 year old.

Hollywood studios was a great park for kids too. I haven’t been during Covid, but how did you not have plenty to do with a 3 year old? What type of stuff are you looking to do?

I’m not sure about stuff for a 3 year old because most of the shows are closed right now. We were there a couple weeks ago and all the rides were open with minimal wait times. She should enjoy the safari and petting zoo.

Take her to Kilamanjaro Safaris, Navi River Journey, It's Tough to be a Bug, The Wild Africa Trek, the bird show, let her play in the sand at the dig site in Dinoland. She will love AK.

Enjoy

She’s just terrified of anything other than a true children’s ride.

Thank y’all for the input. We’re gonna give it a shot tomorrow

Did you really roll into DW without any plan or research? Brave soul.

I get that, does that include the shows? Hollywood studios had a ton of shows for kids. Not sure how it is now though.

Animal kingdom has a kids carnival type of area with carnival type stuff.

Went at Christmas with my 5 and 4 y/o. They loved Animal Kingdom. We rode the Safari multiple times. The River Journey is cool to see but I found it very meh. Gorilla Falls was neat to walk through. Worst case scenario you can ride the Triceratops spin.

AK is great for younger kids because you can just bring them to the Boneyard and let them play

We went in early November Boneyard and all Live shows (Tough to be a Bug, Bird Talk...) were closed. Felt like it was a waste of time for our 2 y/o because it was very limited on what she could ride on.

With no park hopper, we did almost every ride she could ride twice.

Didn't know that. I have not been to AK in Covid. So this limits her to the Safari rides, the Pandora boat ride, and the two jungle walks.
