Anniversary—adults only beach trip suggestions please

Looking to go somewhere for a long weekend for our anniversary this summer. We both love the beach, but would want something adults only. Prefer nonstop flights out of New Orleans, Gulfport, or Mobile.
Was thinking about key largo, but wanted to see if there were something better. Any suggestions or advice is appreciated!

Bungalow in key largo is a solid choice for sure. For just a long weekend flying into fll or miami and jumping down there is pretty easy.

Thanks! Seeing mixed reviews about the beach and water there. How is it?
We’ve been spoiled with Destin water for all of our beach vacations so we would like something as clear, if not better.

I mean honestly you don't go to the keys for the beach quality. The water is better further into the keys as well. If beach and water is the main thing, maybe you'll be better off going into the Caribbean.

Dominican Republic. Puerto Vallarta. Cabo. Costa Rica. Aruba.
All of them have adults only resorts.

Bungalows Key Largo
Wife and I went last summer and it was amazing.
All inclusive, great food/drinks.
Planning another trip next year

I saw that resort and was intrigued. But, I wonder if I’d be overpaying for an all inclusive resort price if neither one of us drink.

Really wanted to stick with nonstop flights only out of Nola, Gulfport, or Mobile

There’s a ton of resorts within an hour of LA or SD off the PCH

I think even if you don’t drink it’s worth it. Food was amazing. Zen pool very relaxing.
I just had drinks with dinner.
We never left the property while we were there.

another vote for bungalows. Went for babymoon in feb 2021. flew direct from NO to miami. rented a jeep and drove down. Super easy drive.
We stayed 6 nights. That was probably too long. i think 4 nights is probably perfect. The reviews started to scare me after i booked it, but we had the absolute best time! Worth every penny

I am heading back to Punta Cana in about 2 weeks. An all inclusive really give you alot for your money. I have had several good trips there. This time we are going to Majestic Elegance for 7 nights. It is non stop but you can fly out of New Orleans for one stop in Miami.
