Looking for recommendations for a 15 yr anniversary trip with the wife. Trip would be for 5-6 days in June flying out of BR or NOLA. Generally like beach destinations with good food and interesting things to see/do. Budget would ideally be $3-$5k. Have been to Cabo, the Keys, Play Del Carmen, Costa Rica, etc. Prefer to stay away from places with strict covid restrictions.(but we are both vaxed)

Does the 5-6 days include travel time?

Yes...so say 5 nights. I have a ton of Hilton Points that I could use, but not a requirement also. Wouldn't mind checking out the USVI's as we have never been, but really want to keep flights to one connection.

Seems like you are leaning towards the Caribbean. My wife and I enjoy Aruba. We are loyal to Marriott and always find a great special at Stellaris.

I will always recommend St. John. You can find a great villa for the two of you for a reasonable price in the summer. It is their slow season so things are not as busy and cheaper. Amazing beaches and food with plenty to do. Snorkeling, day sails, fishing, etc.

Casa Velas in Puerto Vallarta. Boutique AI resort and hotel. Took my wife (no pics) for our 10 year anniversary and will go back for either 15 or 20.

Sunset at the palms in negril, jamaica is where we spent our honeymoon. Adults only / all inclusive and would def work with your budget. I loved that place.
