Haven’t been but always wanted to. You can take a ferry from southern Italy.

I know someone that has gone there for work. He likes it but said pretty much every night he was expected to go to the bar with his clients and drink and smoke until the wee hours and then be back at work by 8am. He said the people are very friendly but don't speak much english.

Not a work trip so we should be good on that front. I can’t hang like I used to.

It seems to have some really amazing areas that aren’t as expensive as, say, the French Riviera. I’m looking forward to going.
