I just checked with Sling and it'll be $51 for the Orange package and the Sports AddOn (that includes SEC Network).
Sling is going up $5 a month in January too

As little as I watch tv I should cancel it, but as soon as I do; everyone suddenly expresses how much they use it.

Still cheaper than cable.

Canceled mine as well. Been with them for a few years now and getting tired of the price increases every 2 years. I installed a Clearstream antenna in the attic today and hooked it up to a Tablo. After the channel scan ran, it showed it picked up 115 channels.

That's great, but its not like your antenna picked up ESPN or SEC Network so if you want to watch anything thats not OTA you're going to need a service.

Yes, I am getting my antenna lined out as well, after the siding contractors screwed it all up.

This. We mainly watch a local news/weather channel, HGTV, etc.
And after the price increase I compared YouTube TV with Cox Cable TV and it's still a lot more for less with YouTube TV.
Google is well aware of this of course which is one reason why they continue to raise their rates.
We have tried several home antennas and the reception is not good though we are not far from the local ABC, CBS and NBC station antennas.
One of the main issues for us is access through our computers.
We have multiple computers and laptops throughout our home and we like being able to watch sports on our computers and chat with friends via a full sized keyboard during the games aka we don't like typing on a cellphone.

Just switched from the youtube live to sling and got the orange blue package. Logged in to the espn app with sling and also have hulu with a disney bundle wife got with one of the phone plans.

Downloaded zeam and can get local news as signal from local stations is very erratic.

I am ready for the disney espn service I keep hearing about.

Was thinking about youtube tv but with their petty war on ad blocking, their terrible ad environment, and hearing people say their tv option price is going up, I don't think I'll be looking at them now.

Yes, after years of never seeing their complaints about Ad Blockers, I got hit with their crap yesterday morning for having Ublock Orgin enabled. As other options get better, their demise is inevitable.
