I don't believe base bill is going up...they are however adding a sports package for 10.99 that includes NFL Redzone

I'll pay $44 for four months of red zone.

On the heels of upping it 15 bucks for channels few people asked for, they're now going to add something people actually wanted and tell us "listen, this shite aint free"

Where are you seeing a price hike for NFL Network? They're also adding several other channels to their base package...I haven't seen any indication of a price hike

I'm not, I'm just assuming they won't miss a chance for a reasonable quid pro quo argument

Maybe they'll say "look this was part of the hike from before" but I doubt it, at least over the long term.

When they did their last price increase they said that price included channels that will be added at a later date...I'm assuming these are those channels

Will need to seriously consider Youtube TV once I have fiber internet set up in my home.

This is the only justification I can see. You're not getting NFL Network for free. I know a lot of people bitched about the price increase for MTV but if it covers more than that its not too bad.

No BienTV in their sports package is a killer.

Didn't they also add Paramount and Comedy central? If you add the NFL channels then that's 4 super useful channels.

Not sure why anyone ever said just MTV.
