Windows 11 Bugs. I had to Roll Back to Windows 10

Cisco Meraki VPN is super slow. Connects but is unusable.
I can't RDP into any of my company's servers due to my VPN connection.
Rolling back installation now.
Here are some links of others with same issue. It may have something to do with how windows handles L2TP connections and UDP connections.

I can't wait to see what other issues start popping up.
The Windows 11 monster is about to start rearing its ugly head. I'd stay away for now.

We have an Azure AD client at my company. One user updated to Windows 11 without checking with us and it broke just about all the applications on her PC and also our RMM tools.

there is a simple fix for the VPN
Look up disable RSC or receive Segment coalescing

I held onto 7 until 10. I'm holding onto 10 until there is no other choice.

I installed Linux when they stopped supporting 7.

My last PC build was a Windows 7 "evaluation" kit - I had a triple boot Windows 7, Linux and XP Pro - I found myself in Windows 7 95% of the time, so, I ended up getting rid of the other partitions. My current build was from the ground up for Windows 10. Riding it as long as it holds up. Then, I expect to build a new one from the ground up for Windows 12.

I have not had any issue with Cisco AnyConnect or FortiClient.

I tried disabling RSC from PowerShell and it broke my VPN connection. I had to re-enable it.
Do you have a link to where you found this as a solution?

DT shows how to make the Linux KDE Plasma desktop look like Windows 11 in a few easy steps:

I mean, there's a reason Microsoft is being intentional with how they are rolling out the update. If you force yourself to the front of the line, yeah, your likelihood of having issues is pretty high

I've been running it for a few months now through insider and haven't had any bugs, been pretty happy with it.

What distro are you using?

DT is a good dude. He's an Arch guy, but that's fine by me. When I use Linux, I almost always use Debian. I moved away from Linux and am using BSDs now.

Lately, I've had the best experience with Debian, Linux Mint and the Ubuntu flavors. I'm using Kubuntu 20.04.3 LTS as my daily driver.

So I ended up reinstalling Windows 11. The only thing I could do to get my VPN to work over Wifi is to start capturing packets with Wireshark.
Weird, but I'm going to try and roll with Windows 11 on my laptop and use Wireshark until a fix is released.

I like Debian and Devuan. You damn sure can't go wrong with any of those you've mentioned!

We are looking at replacing firewalls next year and have it in the budget. My company moved from Sonicwall to Meraki a few years ago. What do you recommend? I only have experience with Sonicwall, Fortinet, Meraki, and Ubiquiti.
