I mean if it had espn's, foxsports,NFL network, sec network etc... and ran for 20 a month then this is all i would need to go with netflix and prime. Is there anything like this from any of the streaming options or do you have to always have the base package??

You might save 3 dollars total

The majority of your bill is due to ESPN

Cable One here charges people for sports package on their tv bill even if they don't subscribe to espn

Best you can do here is the PSVue $35 package which includes ESPN, FoxSports, NFL Network, and SEC Network.

ESPN charges cable companies about $10 for all of the ESPN networks. ESPN alone is more than 5 times the price than any other network.

Huh?
Some of y'all are dumb. You may not like the opinion pieces they do on ESPN but they still provide all of America 90% of damn near EVERY game in EVERY sport.

But yea, you're life is so tragic because they covered Kapernick kneeling before an anthem.

I saw a promo yesterday for Sling a la carte or something. Apparently you're able to pick X amount of channels. Not sure which ones are included but may be worth looking into.

Nothing changed with Sling, they're just calling it a la carte for marketing.

quote:

Equipment fees extra. After promotion period, regular rates apply. Prices exclude installation/activation fees, equipment charges, inside wiring fees, additional outlets, taxes, surcharges (including video Broadcast Surcharge ($4.00/mo.) and Regional Sports Surcharge ($2.60-$6.00/mo., depending on Cox market))and other fees.

Check out this site: cutcabletoday.com.

It offers some solid ways to get sports while cutting the cord. Most of them were a little too "techie" for me; but there is good info there.
