Have a new patio and streaming TV with Hulu. Completely in the dark about a booster. Recommend a WiFi extender please.

You probably want a mesh system. Nest Wifi, Orbi, Eero, are a few popular ones that would get you the coverage you need.

Get an Orbi. It works great for the same use at my house.

Avoid Orbi. Had set at home and it was trash. My church ordered one too and it got replaced a month later because it was trash. Google wifi replaced both and the dropped wifi problems went away overnight.

In my experience, avoid orbi like the plague.

Just bought an Eero 3 pack. Unbelievably simple to set up. Best wifi coverage I've ever had in my house.

We are new Orbi users and haven’t had any issues, easy set up, and definitely has improved WiFi all around the house.

We have this one. Super cheap and works like a charm. Router is upstairs in an office and our tv downstairs has crazy fast streaming download speeds.

These Orbi, and Google WiFi systems....is it all in one, or do you need a separate modem/router

You still need a modem. The Google Wifi and Orbi just act as a router. In this case a mesh router system.

I need one to reach to my shed. About 100 feet from the box in my living room. An attached carport and walkway gets me about 60 feet closer. I have Uverse.
Any ideas ? Thanks

Does the shed have power/outlets? Is it on the same electrical panel as the house? If yes, you could try powerline network adapters.

Another solution is a point to point wireless bridge solution. Something like an Ubiquiti Nanostation. This is a bit overkill for 100 feet as those things can work over several miles but they aren't expensive. Couple models are under $60 each.

You could try a mesh solution and daisy chain. Put one in a room closest to the carport. Put one in the carport. Then put one in the shed. I have doubts this would work well with the signal getting in/out of the house but it might.

It will be.
So it is possible that it can work? Need to know before I build it

Possible sure. Powerline networking is dependent on the power lines in your house and it's possible there could be issues/interference with it working. I'd suggest buying a powerline kit from somewhere with a good return policy (BestBuy, Amazon, Microcenter) and test it in your house first.

Fyi, they now make powerline adapters with built in wifi access point which might be of interest. Otherwise you'll have to buy a standalone access point.

Take a look at this video to learn more:

Are you having to run (dig and bury) the power line to the shed as well? If so, another option could be to run a CAT6 cable as well. You would need to check what your local codes say about using the same conduit etc.

Yes. I’ll bury the power line more then likely.
