What is so confusing to me is why people have to act like they like it? It's a design flaw that they had to use until they can improve the design for no bezels at all.
Apple won't have the notch for much longer either so there is really no reason to defend them. They are limitations in technology for the time being until everything is under the screen.

Ludicrous for people to defend this. I am going to bookmark this thread so when new phones come out next year that eliminate this we can laugh at everyone who thinks there's no solution to the "notch".

Yes I used to think that reachability was best. A size that allowed the thumb to travel over the entire screen. However I have seen the light. nothing but the biggest iPhone now. Thanks for not going so hard on me

Are people actively saying they like the notch? That's weird if true. It's not a flaw, it's a compromise.
ETA: and it triggers the frick out of me every time Jony Ive says "completely uncompromised design".
