Which paid VPN is cheap but will protect my IP and not slow down network?

Basically what I’m looking for:
I’ve tried all of the free ones and they either cut off after prolonged usage or suck in some other way...unless there’s one I don’t know about. So I need the cheapest VPN that will actually protect my IP for an unlimited amount of time and won’t slow down my connection. I don’t need bells and whistles, just functionality.

PrivateInternetAccess is what you are looking for. $40/year, no throttling, and no logging.

I've been using Nord for almost 2 years with no complaints. I like that the app has the ability to kill specific running applications if the connection is dropped or kill the internet connection all together.

I’ll plug SurfShark.
Paid $47 for 24 months. Read great reviews before purchasing. No issues whatsoever since using.

For those who downvoted this, can you give a reason? What’s the point of downvoting without an explanation?
I’m interested in the OPs question as well.

I posted this unpaid plug earlier but see this site for a comprehensive LINK https://thatoneprivacysite.net/ listing of VPNs. It is non-sponsored AFAIK, so no axe to grind or axe to promote.
It takes a while to wade thru but that One Privacy Guy has done a great job in pluses and minuses.
I've used VPNs since late 90s at work. Have gone thru at least 7 different VPN services for home. For past 5 years it is now Private Internet Access or PIA. Rock solid on desktop. The cell and tablet side is great, but periodically I have to make sure it is really on, I believe that lies more with Apple OS than PIA. It is handy to have multiple devices with same VPN.
Whatever you do, don't get a free VPN service or "dirt cheapo".
You then become the product.

For those who downvoted this
I've been using PIA for about three years and I have never had an issue with it at all. In fact, I'm about to put DD-WRT on my router so that I can install it as a default VPN.

PIA is now owned by a ad company. I'd avoid it at all costs
I use AirVPN since they have port forwarding. They aren't that great for privacy either but better than PIA IMO.
