The way I used to upgrade my cell phone was to sign a 2 year contract in exchange for the latest edition of whatever phone I wanted. Now companies are forcing you to lease it. So, is it possible to find good deals on a cell phone these days?

I have to get a new/used phone too. I'm thinking a used one plus 5 or 5T or an essential. Swappa is where I've been looking. Stay off of Ebay.

I paid 225 for an LG stylo plus. It does everything I need. My plan is 50 a month for 10gs.

You know Andy Rubin is selling essential and they cancelled the essential 2 right? They did agree to upgrades for 2 years and security upgrades for a 3rd.

So the essential is defunct. I'm glad to know that. The longest I keep a phone is a year but I still wouldn't buy an essential unless it was dirt cheap.

I just did a direct replacement with a phone from Amazon, that was certified refurbished, it gave me new accessories and a 90 day warranty.
