I switched to it from Samsung. I feel it's way better android experience, it takes some getting used to as there are no on screen home buttons. Everything is done by swiping up or swiping right to left to 'go back'. Overall I am happier now.

I will tell you the screen or audio is not as impressive as Samsung, but it's not far behind.

Very nice camera. It has a small amount of actual optical zoom, and it makes a huge difference. Does a very good job with low light. The two things I do not like. First is the size. I have big hands, but I found the Pixel 5's smaller size to be more convenient. I'd like a phone that is somewhere between. The second is the curved screen. I honestly do not get why this a desired feature on high end phones.

You can go back to the old way Settings->System -> gestures. But one you learn swipe it's much better.

Funny how Blackberry got way out in front on swipe. Rolled it out in 2013 but it was way too much too soon. It's pretty nice once you get used to it.

that reminds me; if i swipe left or right from either side of the phone it ALWAYS goes back.

any way to get the swipe to go FORWARD? kind of annoying.

Best Buy has the Pro for $599 today. Was thinking about upgrading from my 5a.

isn't google still basically giving away the 7 for free if you swap out any older pixel?

I'm keeping my 5a as a backup. I find when something happens to my phone,

If I were to get one, it would be a pro with 256 gb.

I've only seen this with ATT, anywhere else?

Are you saying they've literally removed the option to have the 3 buttons now? In the past, it's been default to gestures, but then you can go in the deep settings and change it.

I have a 5 and ordered the 7 pro back when it came out, but have been sitting on it instead of switching. I'm super annoyed the the fingerprint sensor isn't in the back anymore.

Yeah, that is one thing I love about my 5a.

However, my Blackberry Key 1 and Key 2 had fingerprint sensor on the space bar and I didn't even notice when I used it.

I love the fingerprint sensor on the P7P. Works like a charm and I like the placement. I did like the sensor on the back on my last pixel, but this one is probably better IMO of your phone is flat on a table and you're trying to unlock without picking the phone up. My previous phone was a Samsung Galaxy s10e which had the sensor on the power button on the side, so this is lightyears better to me.

To the previous poster, you can still switch back to the 3 buttons in settings. The gestures have grown on me though. Took a while to figure out the recent apps movements, but it's super quick navigating once you get the hang of it.

Bit the bullet and bought a snow 128 go 7 pro on swappa for $570. Still had box and charger. I have my eye on the Ultra but I’m going to wait for it to come down a little before I get one. I may really like this one and stick with it.

I've really liked it so far. It's bigger than I like and is a little heavy... My wrist has gotten fatigued in prolonged use. I would've gone for the regular 7, but ATT had a huge promo on the pro and nothing on the regular, so oh well, fine with me.

There was apparently a firmware issue when it first came out that made it really spotty getting cell service. Didn't know that and I spent 2 hours on the phone troubleshooting with ATT trying to figure out why it wouldn't connect with their sim card... then realized there was a huge firmware update available to download.

Only other gripes are the charging seems a little slow, and the speakers don't get very loud. Otherwise, great phone.

Just finished setting mine up. Was pretty flawless.

I kept the BlackBerry launcher. I just prefer it and the hub over the other ones.

Went with snow and got a matching google case.

I like the curved edges. Makes swiping easier. However i probably need to get a screen protector.

Fingerprint sensor didn't take much getting used to.
