Me? I don't use Kodi .. Between Netflix, Hulu and Prime there is enough content. Now with streaming live tv at a low cost it's hard not make it work.

Youtube seems to also have endless content.

DirecTV Now's performance has sent me to Exodus a few times this week.

Accessing that content is legal?

I think we know the answer regarding the use of Exodus and Kodi.

I still have Cox for a few more months while I bought the Apple TV deal so I am sitting in it waiting for them to fix their issues. I did watch DTV now last night without issue.

Sorry for the thread jack.

I'm asking for a link to show how me viewing a YouTube video that shouldn't be uploaded is not legal for me as the viewer.

Also Kodi doesn't even own or host the content like YouTube does so when they allow a video to be uploaded that shouldn't they would seem more liable than Kodi.

Kodi is more similar to Google showing you Links to what you seek

I guess no one should ever watch tv at another's house

Sounds sooo illegal to just mooch that way

It's just streaming just as if you watched anywhere. Somewhere someone is paying for it and sharing with another.

Lol people should get off their high horses. Unless someone is actually selling and profiting I don't see it illegal. Not talking about cam rips those.

So, what does one need to get started with Kodi or how to go about it?

If you want it on your tv the easiest way is to get a fire tv box and put it on there. There are instructions on the first page of the chord cutting thread. You can also put it on a pc or android phone. Once you have Kodi add exodus and trakt. Instructions are also in the same thread. After that you will be off and running.

frickers updated my fire TV UI and it to me awhile to find where they hid Kodi.

I guess I should be happy they didn't remove it completely.

You sound pretty defensive trying to justify what you do.

I could care less but I think people who may not understand that some of these sites that store movies and shows from like HBO does not fall within the framework of legal access.
