Anyone have it? If so, do ya’ll like it?
I have Att Fiber and it was great. Tech support blows. Having a bunch of issues with it. Just got a new router and still having issues.

Fiber should pretty much a set it and forget it...have you tried rebooting the ONT? What kind of issues? I just dont think that if i had fiber that i'd opt to go with a wireless internet service

I have the Verizon 4g cube and have for a while. It is ok, drops, slowness sometimes. I wfh and we stream tv, so I notice all of the issues. Fiber just became available and I have that now as well and will probably cancel Verizon shortly.
I found it worth the 25 bucks a month, and maybe you can get the 5g. I'm "rural" living in Abita now so I'm fringe for their service.

I've got no dog in the fight, but I can't see how dropping a wired solution would be better than a wireless one. Maybe I'm missing something.

I can't really speak to Verizon home internet HOWEVER, the one or two pros for say TMobile home internet is:
1) Pricing for tmobile (and probably verizon too) customers = 30$ a month. That smokes 80-90$ a month for ATT or other providers.
2) Having cell internet is potentially a life saver during hurricane season. ATT Fiber went down with a lot of trees post IDA and didn't come get fixed for 2 months.

I guess the old saying "Your mileage may vary" and I'm looking at thing myopically. But, 1). We don't have hurricanes here and 2). All of our utilities (including our neighborhood fiber lines are buried).
But I also know that when I did live in hurricane country, cell towers were one of the first things to go.
But thanks for providing insight.

Be honest, you are just wanting a reason to hop on that free Xbox Series X deal.

I've been using T-Mobile 5G internet for several months and just made the call to get ATT Fiber at my house. The Tmo worked great for me in Houston but at my house in Metairie, it intermittently had some times where it just crawled and I couldn't do anything.
I would figure out how to get your Fiber performance squared away. It could be as simple as a termination on the fiber entering your house that a technician can replace in 5 minutes. They can use their meter and measure the strength of the light.

Had ATT Fiber in my neighborhood in Metairie for 3 months it was great no issues.
Verizon 5G Home internet came out and it was locked in $25 for 10 year, so i switched. Every now and then it can be spotty but for the most part we do not have a lot of issues. Slightly slower speeds than fiber which you would expect. For some reason my wifi extenders struggle to extend the signal to my backyard area.
