Upgrading Win 11 Home to Win 11 Pro

Got a new computer and need to get Win 11 Pro on it. Anyone know of any tricks or ways to get the upgrade for free rather than paying the $100 for the upgrade?

I use G2A.com to buy stuff like this. $30 for a Win 11 Pro key.

From past experience, it's easier to just suck it up and buy a new product key for Windows 11 Pro.

Is there a difference between G2A and just buying direct for more money?

Similar question as the post above, how is G2A able to sell a Win 11 Pro product key at that price, and is it legal?
Not familiar with G2A at all....just asking how it works.

Thanks for that. Will likely get a new laptop this year (running a 7 yr old Alienware currently) and looking at all upgrade options...hardware and software.

Yes.
The G2A license is an OEM license. It is intended to be installed on new PCs. You may reinstall Windows on your new computer and use a G2A Windows Pro license at installation. However, you may not use it to upgrade from Windows Home to Windows Pro. OEM licenses may be used on a single PC. They can never be transferred to another PC.
Purchasing a license directly from Microsoft allows you to switch between Windows Home and Windows Pro. And if your new PC dies, you may transfer the license to a new PC.
