Did you do the tivimate premium?
I would highly recommend switching to Emby and housing all your media in the same app. You get a 100% seamless experience and can set your shield to automatically start emby when you turn it on.
You run your own everything. It's beautiful.

Do any of y'all use any certain Kodi builds? I use Xanax and it's not too bad.

Nah, I gave up on Kodi. Seems like its best days are behind it.
I just run everything through my Emby. Of course there's a whole backend that feeds that via sonarr, radarr, lidarr, etc.

No offense but what a horrible hot take. Kodi + Real Debrid is all I would need in my life if there were no sports. Every movie and show loads instantly and in high def. no buffering.

Kodi becomes laborious and is not conducive for novices. I used it and got quite good at it, but the constant updating, searching, etc. it’s all a big hassle. People want a cable feel. That’s why I use what I use. I spend a few bucks a month and the shite looks and feels just like cable for a fraction of the cost.

Your guy emailed me back about his services. Sounds like a solid service.

This may be a dumb question, but is it legal?
And is it just a sports package? Or is it all channels?

I'm moving into a new condo this weekend and I'm trying to weigh my options for TV. My old roommate said he paid $150/month total for Cox internet and cable, which sounds kind of cheap honestly. I'll probably stick with Cox for internet, and if I do, which TV bundle should I pair it with? Youtube TV? Cable? Live Hulu? Sling TV? Something else?
I must admit I've only used cable my entire life so I don't know anything else about these other options or how to use it. I'm just trying to get a little help of which TV option I should go with. Any advice is appreciated.
Doing a little quick research I think I'm now deciding between Youtube TV or cable. Seems like YoutubeTV is convenient with no random fees, no installation, and you cancel any time unlike doing cable. Only cons seems to be less channels than cable and with price of YoutubeTV continuing to increase, chances are it might eventually reach cable price at some point. Anything else?

So how do you integrate that with Plex? I might check it out.

I have no clue. I use tivimate. You can still run a plex server separately. I would guess they would know how to do it.

Email the guy. He doesn’t put his shite out there.
Just to play Devils advocate—Why does he not put his stuff out there? It seems this person would want to advertise such a solid service.
I’ve also emailed and it sounds awesome. I just have reservations due to the service being on the “down low.”
