TV sound to bluetooth headphones

Any easy solutions? Trying to watch upstairs TV through my new bluetooth headphones. TV only has optical out. Will any gadget be good enough and not have lip sync issues? I have an XBOX One. Is it worth buying the newer remote with the headphone jack and go old school headphones and just stream through the XBox?

if you have a roku i think you can do it through the app on your phone with either plugged in headphone or BT

I tried but the lip sync is terrible and unwatchable. I did not notice any way to change the timing.

Roku, Firestick or Apple TV will Bluetooth to your headphones. Not sure on the actual TV doing it.

FIXED! After hrs of trying everything under the sun. Go to Roku Settings, then to Audio. Put it on Stereo and also on PCM.

I had issues with audio not syncing on older streaming devices. The Nvidia Shield tune and Amazon Fire tv (box, not stick) work perfectly for me when I use my Soundcore BT headphones.

I am trying to get something that works for everything on that TV. I have XBox that I may play some games on every now and then as well. I am looking at these bluetooth transmitters that hook to the toslink port.

Lip sync issues. I returned it. Just got another Roku with the headphone jack in the remote and called it a day.
