One front door speaker on my 2015 F150 busted. Looking to definitely replace it, but maybe upgrade all 4 door speakers. I haven't pulled the panels yet, but I believe they're 6x9s.

Any suggestions on a quality brand that won't break the bank?

Hit up Crutchfield and use their speaker finder to find the right dimensions and depth. Look for some youtube videos on removing the doors and trim from a 2015, it's much more of a PITA than it used to be.

This. Crutchfield is clutchfield. Theyll give you installation instruction, recommendations and all. If you want to upgrade the door speakers, shouldn't be too hard to add a 4 channel amp.

Before you jump in with both feel, make sure it's the speaker and not something else. Adjust the fader so that's the only speaker playing. Speakers rarely completely die. They will generally make some sort of awful noise in their death throws. If it's completely silent, it's more likely an issue with the head unit, amps, crossovers or connectors.

To see if your speaker is getting power at the speaker, set your multi-meter to AC voltage and play a tone or music. You should see fluctuating voltage. If you don't the issue likely isn't the speaker but the other components in the system. You could also swap the right speaker for the left (or vice versa) to see if that speaker plays on the opposite side of the vehicle.

I have as 2013 F-150 and ran into the same issues. Turns out my speaker was still good and the issue was under the dash. I've yet to dig into it more.

Good luck.
