Traveling vacation hotel room camera

Hit enter too soon!
To keep it short...we are traveling with our small dog. The hotel has wifi, and I want to hook up a camera to make sure the dog doesn't start yowling or barking while we are out. We'd like to check in on our phones occassionally, or get a notice (which is even better) if noise is detected, so we'd go back to the room and just make plans in the future not to bring him again!
Is there such a camera that doesn't involve a subscription that one can use (preferrably on the cheap side) and has an app to check in?
Thanks!

Amazon Blink Mini
ETA: It won't be set off by sound but, if you set it in a position to watch the hotel door which is where I'd likely think the dog would be while barking, it will set it off when he approaches that area.

That looks great! But we're leaving in the morning and it has to come from a B&M in BR. Dog baby sitter backed out this morning so

What good is knowing your dog barked every 5 minutes going to do? Antihistamines like Benadryl can make a dog sleepy. You can look up dosage by weight online.
For one of the prescription antihistamines my dog took for allergies, if we ever got to 3 pills a day she would sleep most of the day and be pretty low energy and out of it while awake. I don't know how much Benadryl it would take to get to that state, but your vet probably would.

We would leave where we would be and head back. ANYTHING to keep management from complaining to us. Thanks.

Do you have an old phone or tablet? Baby monitor apps work perfect for this.
Cloud Baby Monitor on iOS is what we use with one of our old iphones or ipad.

Some a-hole I met one time told me he kicked in the door on the hotel room next to his because the dogs wouldn't stop barking. Kicked open the door and let the dogs out of the room. Might not be a bad idea, although I'm assuming he was staying in a Motel 6 level hotel for this to go an and no cops get called.
