Thinking of switching from ATT to Verizon

Currently have an Iphone 6 with grandfathered in unlimited data on ATT. I'm looking to upgrade to an Iphone XS and it looks like unlimited with Verizon would be around $120/ month vs ATTs $150/month (currently pay $115 with iphone6).
Has anyone switched lately? Looks like an easy call to me to switch, but am I missing something?

I would wait until Sam's or Costco is running a special where you get a giftcard for $200-300 and make the switch. But if you don't want to wait, I would definitely call Verizon and ask them to get rid of the activation fee if you do make the switch. I switched from Att to verizon after the BR flood and had 5 lines of activation fee removed on top of their sweet trade in deal.

It looks like there are many differences with plans between and within each carrier. I’d do some research on the product you have and what you are looking at before you switch. If saving $30 meant not streaming in hd, that would be something I’d like to know before hand.

Seems pretty high .. pay 30 for phone and $35 for plan with T-Mobile for wifes phone. Now that is 6gb a month and not unlimited.

We switched from ATT to Verizon after being with ATT since bag phones. Verizon gave us $300 each for a couple of worn out 6’s when we bought X”s. Signal is better around our area.
We also dialed back from unlimited data to 8 Gigs per month. What you don’t use carries over (to a limit). Saved money, and with WiFi everywhere we never sniff the data cap.

Have Verizon unlimited data.
I always have service and never a dropped call.
My wife has ATT. Always a dropped call and spotty service. For example, when she has Waze open, service goes in and out on the road

I just got Verizon.
Unlimited. But they said it throttles at 0.5 mb/s hot spot so they juiced another $10 out of me.
Beyond Unlimited 15 gb then they said over and they throttle, 28 mb/s is good.
Above Unlimited 75 gb

Verizon is terrible. Don't do it. Go to T-Mobile. My work uses Verizon so I have to and it's garbage. In 2019 we can expense our phones instead of using a company account so I'm switching back to T-Mobile.

I switched to Verizon from att after the flood.. I have since switched back, never had service anywhere which was surprising

If you want reliably, t-mobile isn't a good choice.
