Guys, I'm in the market for a "smart" watch.
I'm Looking for one to sync to my phone (6+). One that will notify me when I receive emails, messages, invites etc etc. With all that being said, I really do not want to spend the money for an iWatch. Don't really need something that I can reply to all that I mentioned above, just a watch that will notify me.
I'm open to suggestions. Any recs? TIA

Unfortunately you're iOS, but if it's compatible, I highly recommend Samsung Gear. Love mine.

Thanks for the input guys.
Yes, I've heard the Samsung is an excellent watch.
May do some homework on the Martian

Those iWatches are cool though. A used one might be in your price range.

Very cool, would probably be best for me honestly.
Really do not want to spend $400. Looking to stay in the $1-200 range

I went to the apple store today to get a phone repaired and those things are so damn cool. I love mechanical watches so putting a computer on my wrist is very far from my mind. When they make tiny phones that skip the browser thing, I'm in. I wish my phone was twice as big as an iWatch.
Seriously though, this is a watch...

Pebble watches are amazing, they also work on iOS and android, do everything you are asking for, are relatively cheap, look great, and have amazing battery lives.

I've got the LG Urbane and I like it alot. There's no extra apps or anything and watch faces are limited but if you want a watch that shows your notifications it's a great looking watch. I've got tons of compliments on it since I've started wearing it

I have a sony smartwatch 3 (android wear) and I love it. Picked it up from someone i follow on twitter for $75 after they were done reviewing it, couldn't pass that up.

If just notifications, pebble is the way to go.
Garmin and Microsoft band are the best two with notifications outside of pebble. You get fitness stuff too with that, so you might be overpaying if that's not of interest.
I might order one of those Martians off of tangas at that price.

I originally wanted a smart watch. I then saw a fitness band that had all I wanted. I get notifications, sleep tracking and music controls. I just didn't want all of the other stuff and I still like regular watches. It's the Garmin vivosmart. Vibrating notification and alarm is amazing.
