Need a new printer for home use. Currently have a USB HP B&W laser printer and the new toner cartridge will cost more than a new printer, so I'm interested in getting a new one.

This will be used at home. We don't print often, just various paperwork like insurance cards, misc paperwork etc. We don't have a desktop and are usually on our phones/tablets/laptops in other rooms of the house, which is why we want a wireless enabled printer. It would be nice to not have to get up from the sofa, go to the office and plug in the printer when we want to print something.
We don't need any other bells & whistles. Just a simple laser printer.

Amazon has a Samsung for under $100 but reviews seem mixed. I hear good things about Canon and Brother. Just so many to choose from. An inexpensive toner would be a plus as well.

Brother with full duplex option. Mine's in another room of the house and has been flawless for 5+ years now. Cost less than $200. Still on original toner.

Have the HP P1102w and love it. Small foot print and supports Airprint and Google print.

How about this Brother 2360? LINK

Amazon has the 2340 for about the same price.

HP printers use to be the standard and I feel the lasers are still good but for home use look at the brothers or even an epson. Don't even consider an HP desk jet.

I'm sure either one would be fine. I actually have two Brothers from 2009 or so, one of the cheap compact ones similar to those and a taller one that does auto-duplex, which is why I bought it after realizing the smaller one didn't have the feature. I think the shorter one curled the paper more, and its toner did run out rather quickly, but I worked around that by taping over the little window the printer uses to measure toner; the result was several hundred more pages and no toner outage. I haven't had to do that for the taller one.
