Not if you have the 7, it's still good to get hack. Buddy dropped his in motor oil while he was working on a tractor for an hour and still works fine.

Microwave on high for 60 seconds and you'll be good to go.

Motor oil is a poor conductor of electricity and some oils can actually be insulators. Several years ago I built a pc in an aquarium and ran it submerged in mineral oil with no issues, other than cooling the mineral oil itself

Your question was incoherent with no real information. It's not our fault.

Sorry I am not tech savvy, if I received responses like yours it would be better not used to receiving stupid comments to a serious question
I have a friend who is getting out of a relationship with a wacko of a woman, she is threatening to hack into his computer and phone
He is looking to avoid that
If you can help thanks

Usually, if everyone around you is an a-hole, it's usually you that's really the a-hole.

Just sayin'.

If I do not know the answer to a simple question I do not respond with some smart arse response. Learn respect

This thread is awesome. And the OP is an idiot, as is his friend. Dumb and Dumber comes to mind.

That's the problem. You didn't even ask a legit question. You posted something that was impossible to comprehend, hence no real answer.

You have to earn respect. You do that by saying "my bad" for not giving enough info in the OP for us to help you and then give us the info we need to help. That would have worked much better than throwing a tantrum like a 2 year old frustrated that his parents can't understand his gibberish.

The first thing your "friend" needs to do is change all of his passwords, both on his phone and on his iCloud account. Also make sure 2 factor authentication is turned on for his iCloud account. I just did some quick googling and most of the iphone hacking appears to involve knowing someone's iCloud login and just access their email and messages by logging in from another device. I would think any actual app would have to show up on his iPhone, so have him look through his settings where the list battery usage by app, data usage by app, etc.
