Standalone speedometer that's not a phone app?

Does this exist? I'm looking for a coworker who drives an old truck with a broken speedometer and doesn't have a smartphone.

This. Doesn't have to be handheld, though. Most standalone GPS units show current speed. Something like this.

Seems like a cheap GPS is the best solution but something like this may also work depending on the make and age of the vehicle. OBD port speed/tach indicator
