Put an ARC in my parents den this weekend. First time I’ve sat down and watched a movie on one. Sounds really good for what it is and they don’t even have a sub, yet.

Thinking about going that way too once the OLED Vizio comes out mid September.

$400 for the sub is an awesome deal. Think I am going with Sonos and don't really have an issue paying for the soundbar and other speakers, but definitely wish there was a more affordable sub, especially since I don't have a huge room. That said gonna look for awhile and see if I can find one slightly used or something else around $500.

I thought all you need is one of the newer speakers (Beam, Arc, etc) in your system and you can use that to support S2, if I'm saying that correctly?

Only need one airplay capable speaker to have all speakers play airplay songs. S2 vs S1 is either or not both in the same system.
