Looking to change out the factory speakers on an f150 fx4. Already looked at Crutchfield and they say 5-1/4, 6x8, 5x7 will all fit. There’s 4 speakers to swap.

Wanna swap them all, rather not put a sub but not against it. But if u can get away with it, wanna “do everything” speaker that’ll have high/mid/low and not have to worry about putting a sub. Not looking to rattle windows. Just clean with a lil thump when called upon

Hey bud. Just letting you know been using the hell out the fitness equipment!

As far as speakers, I really like my Polk MM components. They have nice tight bass and very good highs. I also bought a Polk DB series 10" and it's been great for getting that extra but not rattling. If you want , I can link the stuff I got.

5.25 will have the most amount of options. You just get an adapter.

I also want to add that I added a 4 channel amp to the speakers. It really brings them to life.

I added a Kenwood Powered Subwoofer in addition to 4 new speakers in my F150. Simple install and was small enough to put behind the seat back of the rear seats of my Ext. Cab. Won't rattle to windows but not bad for the money.

What year is your F150 and did it come with factory amp, sub, or nav?

If you have a 09+ with Sony sound, things get a little more complicated if you want to add a 4 channel amp
