Sharing photo library with family

I have a huge amount of family photos I'd like to make accessible to the family. It's a mix of JPG and RAW files, so ideally I'd create a JPG of everything to share with them. I use Lightroom Classic for managing everything and OneDrive for storage.
Any tips on sharing? I'm thinking of exporting by year to JPG and sharing out a separate view-only directory, but I'm open to advice.

Create a Google Drive Folder and send them the view-only link

One Drive would work just fine for you. No need to copy to a new platform.

Mostly hoping there's some easy way to convert thousands of files to JPG. Maybe set up a publishing service inside of Lightroom that kicks a downsized JPG to a shared directory, maybe.

My wife and I use family sharing in google photos. One of us takes a picture of the kids or each other and it is automatically shared with the other person.

Sure, and that’s probably what I’ll end up doing. Just have to settle on a good resolution and quality to use. I’m still searching for an easy way to auto export based off flag or something though.

ImageMagick is your friend here. There is even a version for Windoze now. Should be able to loop through all of your RAW images and convert them to jpeg in batch.

I don’t think that integrates with Lightroom though, so I wouldn’t capture all of my edits.

Lightroom integration post editing was not a requirement, the original requirement was convert 1000's of RAW files to JPG.
You must be a Project Manager in training or a Gov't project lead!
Make your edits, save them to disk then batch convert for sharing.

Yeah sorry. Lightroom is nondestructive, so it saves all photo edits in its catalog. To get a JPG with edits, you have to export from LR or use something that integrates.

Can you convert RAW to JPG on Mac? I know there is a feature in the Quick Actions menu of finder to convert to JPG. '

For web viewing, there's no real need to go beyond 2000 pixels on the long side. That's what most people use for their main display size (1920x1080). It's the best compromise between resolution and file size.
