My satellite tv is has been cutting out periodically due to loss of signal. I suspect the dish aiming needs fine tuning. Is there a meter that I can hook up to the dish itself to fine tune this aiming myself?

From what I remember tailgating in the 2000s, the meter was either on the dish itself, or there was a utility on the TV connected to the dish that did this.

It's probably foliage that's grown in the last few years, or wind pushing a tree in the way, etc. You know you can get DirecTVover your internet connection and not worry about the dish?

I have Dish currently. I am looking for something that is possible to align the dish without having to have someone yelling back and forth to me when they see signal strength on the tv.

I'd get a Satellite Buddy on eBay. That thing makes aiming a breeze. You can fine tune the hell out a dish with one. It's easy as pie to use.
