Is this TV worth $1099. Looking to replace the plasma I mentioned in the pano plasma thread. Not wanting to get crazy in price as new technology advances every year.

Personally I am not a fan of Samsung TVs anymore. Their quality control has been suspect in recent years.

And I have a Samsung hanging in my living room and kids bedroom.

I paid 799 for one back in early March and love it.

Sams has the 75" MU629 on sale starting next weekend with a 400 off instant savings.

Just looked it up and its 1479 right now. So you can snag a 75" for 1k next weekend.

Can we get some suggestions? I'm in the exact same boat. Wanted the tcl, but it's on back order for eternity. I want to keep it around $1000

Sony 900E, I just bought one and love it. I paid 1k. I had a Samsung Qled6 and it was trash. I brought it back after 8 days to get the Sony. They were both the same price. This is coming from someone who's owned a Samsung for the past decade.

While Samsung is back on top in 2018, I would avoid the 2017's.

Where did you pay 1K for the 65" 900E? Ive considered this option but the cheapest I can find it is around the $1400 mark.

I bought that exact tv a few months ago for 1049.00 I like it pretty well but I am not sure I wouldn't step up to the OLED or QLED options.

Recently got the Samsung 65” MU6300 and we absolutely love it. Crystal clear picture, all the apps, 4K, WiFi, blutetooth.
Paid $800-$900 on Black Friday

Only difference in MU6290 and MU6300 is the remote. We wanted the smart remote with no number buttons.

No, that's way too much for the MU which didn't get great reviews. The KS series (the year before) was a phenomenal tv. If it would have been a KS then I would have said that it would have been a good deal.

My experience shows the flaws in relying on reviews. I would’ve paid more for it. It’s awesome.

Opinions are obviously subjective, but sites like rtings use objective measurements to get their rating. And if you would have paid more for that tv, that’s just not very smart

Nice, Rtings said it is the best LED TV they have ever reviewed.
