Roku remote is not working

I fought one for a couple hours once. Re-programming over and over.
It eventually took and has been going for 6+ months.
Is it also a roku tv?

Depending on your Roku model, press that button on the remote to re-sync. In the one with batteries that we have, it's inside the battery chamber thing. It'll search/find, done it many times.

The app is buggy as hell for the last 2 months.
If you leave the app open and the phone locks, the app becomes unresponsive after unlocking the phone. Then if you force quit the app it won’t move past the purple Roku start up screen if you’re still connected to WiFi.
It’s a pain in the arse.
