Replacing single AirPod

So my 15 year daughter did what I fully expected. Lost one of her buds.
Not able to locate and “find my..” is clueless.
Is it possible to buy one bud?
These were $250 so buying another pair doesn’t set well with me.

FindMy just looks for the case, not the buds themselves
Just buy a new set. Buying a single is too much

You've been irresponsible, here's an upgrade!
Pfft, buy her a normal set of buds like Anker/Soundcore for $60. I have backup pairs in boxes, a set for the gym, a set for general use, etc. The Liberty 4 are $99 right now, but they go on sale on the regular, which is why I have so many.

It wouldn’t set with me at all. I would tell her to figure it out and use some of that Christmas money to replace them if she wanted.

This is why I just buy $20 bluetooth earbuds. If I lose one no big deal.
But this is also why I have a phone with a 1/8" headphone jack and a pair of wired headphones.....

Good life lesson. Why would you replace them? Plenty of cheaper alternatives. If she wants the good shite, she needs to buy it with her babysitting money.

Surprisingly enough, AirPod buds are one of the few Apple products that isn’t on full security lockdown. You can mix and match as you please and don’t have to worry if they’re registered. You can get “new” ones on marketplace/offerup/etc for 90% off. I’m a big fan of air pod pro 2. There are better options out there for noise canceling or battery life or sound or comfort, but ap2 is a good mix and works reliably.

Hahaha
That went to multiple stores in Lakeside
She’ll have to find those jbl buds she got a couple years ago.
They weren’t horrible. She also had 3 or 4 buds that came with other apple crap. She’ll be alright.
