I use mSecure app on iPhone.
Requires me to look up each password and type it into pc application or copy/paste to phone apps but I’m comfortable with that.
Comes in handy when I’m using something other than my primary laptop.

App requires a password to open

Data is encrypted and it can send you a backup to restore on another phone. I like the fact that my passwords are stored on a platform separate from my Windows laptop.

LogMeIn purchased LastPass in 2015. I think after that, the price shot up, and then they started restricting the free service to one device, which took away one of its best features.

Now LogMeIn is spinning LastPass off, back to an independent company:

https://www.forbes.com/sites/iainmartin/2021/12/14/private-equity-firms-to-spin-out-password-manager-lastpass/

Unfortunately they are saying that the vast majority of their revenue comes from business clients, so that is their emphasis and it sounds like they are not planning to go back to being more consumer-friendly. So it's not good for a new user if you don't like the $36 annual fee.

I've been using LastPass for probably 10 years and I will continue to, partly because I lucked into a situation where the yearly fee I pay for the premium service is still $12.
