Looking into getting a new laptop again and I can't find one for me, but hoping yall can help me. Here's what I'm looking for:
Lightweight
Touch screen
Good battery life
Good storage
One that can last for years
Nothing too groundbreaking. I got me a Dell Core i5 8th Gen that lasted for 6 years and thought it was great, but the battery sucks now when not always charged. Nothing super duper expensive, and it can be a 2 in 1 laptop/tablet too even though I've only used laptops.
Any help is appreciated.

While you gave a decent amount of info, much of it is very relative. What's your usage case, and what's the range of what you're looking to spend? In US dollars, ideally

That’s pretty significantly on the inexpensive side. Order your list of wants in the OP by importance.

Good battery life and decent enough storage to keep some pictures on there is really the only thing I need to have.

Just talking this out, why do you want to use a laptop for photo storage?

Why not just replace the battery?

How much space are you currently using for your pictures?

That's true. I could always do that.

I honestly don't know but I only have like a few hundred or so from trips I took over the years so probably not a lot.

Sounds like you don't really need that much space then, a few hundred photos isn't that much storage. If your budget is $600 you won't be getting that great of a laptop, so I would agree about replacing the battery on your existing laptop and getting more life out of it if you like the one you have.

Yeah I'm just gonna do that.

Sounds like a chromebook might work for you.
