Thinking about getting the galaxy s8. I've had android before (galaxy s4) so I'm somewhat familiar with it. How easy is it now to migrate and switch from iOS to android? For example how hard is it to put music on your device if you strictly use Apple Music? Are photos easy to migrate over?
The only thing making me hesitant about switching is the lack of iMessage, which may sound like a petty reason but I've grown to love the features. Most people that I know and text with use iOS so I will be the green bubble guy amongst the people I text with Thanks for the input!

You can download Apple music from the Google play store, but there are better streaming platforms that offer more.

Get the S8+ the battery life is top notch.

Piggy back question: how do you organize music with Android? I have an iPhone and most of what is on there is music. iTunes and the music layout on iPhone is so easy to use. Would a Galaxy use folders or something? And how would you organize it on your computer?

And as OP said, I don't want to give up iMessage

ETA: I don't use Apple Music, so that isn't a concern for me.

Samsung devices with Knox are approved by the NSA for the Defense Information System Agency. If it's safe enough and approved for the Department of Defense then it's more than safe for civilians.

Different programs have different options. But I usually rely on id3 tags to manage everything. Makes folder structure irrelevant.

The default app is Google Play Music. There are many apps that can be downloaded.

I use a folder on my computer, but there are other ways. I personally prefer doing everything manually.

So your argument is that Android can be hacked easier than iPhone?
Yikes.
