I currently have an iPhone5 that is running on some old software and about to bite the dust. Tomorrow i think i'm going to buy an iphone 6s at the AT&T store. Are they able to transfer everything I have (pictures, texts, notes. etc..) on my iphone5 to the new iphone 6s in the AT&T store?
thanks

First off, is this you?

But seriously, back up your current iPhone to iCloud. When you get your new one, you can set up from the existing backup. All your texts, apps, photos etc will be right where you left them.

But you didn't answer the question..

Yes assuming you have a current iCloud backup with all of those items being backed up on iCloud. I just upgraded from an iPhone 6 to a 7 and didn't lose anything.

Such a brilliant gif, used in a most beautiful way.

If they won't do it for you @ AT&T, another option is buying it at best buy and letting the geeks help you.

Did you not read the paragraph under the gif?

1. Back up your phone on iCloud
2. Buy new phone
3. Turn on new phone. Choose "Restore from iCloud backup"

That's a lot better than the new iPhones I saw. Retail for a 32gb was a grand. I was going to switch to Apple but not at that price. I would much rather buy a new Google phone.

true, i dont see how anyone could justify spending that much for a phone when you can have a similar (if not better) one for $350 cheaper.

Eligible 6's can be traded into AT&T for $70 for the 7. My dad and brother just did it.

Yes you can transfer it all.
You do have an icloud login don't you?
You just go to icloud and backup your entire phone.. either via computer and itunes or via online through the phone..
then on your new phone you just restore your backup when you first install it.
they will likely help you with this at the store
