Sign up and pay for 3 months for the "Go Big" discounted version ($35/mo). Enter your CC info and mailing address and they will mail it to you.

You can get it by signing up online... It it sounds like most people that did that had to wait a few weeks before getting the Apple TV. If you go to an AT&T owned store (not an authorized retailer), they should have them there. I was in and out in 10-15 min, all signed up withy Apple TV in-hand. It was crazy easy.

Same
Worked really well and I was their first customer to get it

I got my appletv a couple of weeks ago and still haven't even removed it from the package. I have too many damn devices at this point. 2 chromecasts that have become paperweights. 2 Fire sticks one old and one new and a firetv. an old appletv that collects dust and a new firetv with DTV now

I'm the same way. I've given two Roku sticks to my dad and I have a Roku 3 doing much of nothing as well as a fire stick.

Oh yea and a Roku TV. It's a shame. If anyone is in the market for an AppleTV I'll deal with you. It's sitting on my counter wanting to be used.

Think I'm going to go by there and sign up. It's only a couple blocks from my work, might even look into uverse since they've run FO in our area.

Walked in to an ATT store 2 days ago, walked out with my free appletv. Hooked it up. Cancelled the normal DirecTV. After 2 days I can officially say it's been one of the better decisions I've made lately. I'm literally saving 115.00 a month now and got a free AppleTV. My local stations all come in just fine with a pos cheap antenna from the wally marks

If you have AT&T or your ISP doesn't have data caps...

Just got an email confirmation that they are apparently sending me another AppleTV
Oopsie. So I got 1 in the store and they are mailing me one.

Went to At&t last night, got the Apple TV. This deal ends Jan 9th I believe. I also signed up for the gig service and will get it installed tomorrow. I'll drop Comcast to the curb forever.
Didn't know last night that Apple TV doesn't have an app for Amazon Video, but it's pretty easy to play on my phone and mirror it. Did pretty well last night while watching a few shows.

That's what I do. I casted the entire 2nd season of The Man in the High Castle to my Apple TV the other day. Worked flawlessly.

I have been averaging 700-900GB a month with all the streaming we do with Vue, on top of my wife playing on her phone, me doing work at home a few hours a day, and the kids occasionally watching videos(while streaming something on the tv at the same time probably).
I can't see how someone would use much more than what i'm using and I havent' reached my cap, even though Cox doesn't charge you if you go over anyway, which I think it's 1TB.

Bout to get this. You can get a fire stick for free with only one month up front. Think I will go that route.

We signed up for the 2 week free trial of sling today, but after reading this post I think we are going to do the 3 month directv now for the Apple TV and the $35 locked in rate tomorrow. Thanks for all the info.

Only 2 streams at a time and no DVR feature seems like a deal breaker to me. I'll stick with PS Vue for now.

Even if you don't keep it, it's worth it for the free Apple TV.
