I'm gonna check tomorrow to see my situation now, but I previously had everything mobile restricted away from home as well. Today, I actually set my slingbox back up so I can sling my roku, and hence PlayStation Vue, to my phone.

I tried it away from home and it worked now. I only tried one channel though.

I took a quick look while away from home today and it appeared that I had access to a bunch of stuff that I didn't before, after doing the sign out/sign back in on home network thing. A few things were still mobile restricted but this was good to see

Trying to watch the tonight's NFL game on the fricking Twitter app (Fire tv) and the damn feed keeps stopping. Have to back out and reload the game. Didn't have this problem last week.

game SHOULD be on NFL Network for Vue subscribers. Apparently Twitter owned the "streaming" rights the past two weeks.

Supposedly, Atlanta and several other markets just got CBS. Haven't checked mine yet. Doesn't look like anywhere else in the southeast.

ugh, we got to prioritize the largest metropolitan....want in Houston.
i have a great CBS HD antenna stream, but that DVR capability would be legit. What about NBC?

HBO and Showtime are now on Vue. Believe there's a ultra slim package that packages the elite with HBO and Showtime for $65

It's telling me an update is required to the app, go to the apps library from the firetv home screen but when I go there there is no option to update it.

Had the same problem this morning. Uninstalled it and reinstalled. Had to sign back in and it has worked fine since.

I tried to subscribe but I can't find it on my Roku box. I found it with my phone but I don't know how to make it all work.

Pretty sure I just searched for the app on the roku and it found it fairly easily. Functionality on the roku is slightly limited as you don't have access to a guide and, unless this has changed, can't add separate accounts with it. But I think you can do that with your phone though.

Fire TV doesn't do a good job of that. I would restart the Fire TV and clear cache. Not necessarily in that order.

yeah

i'll admit. the Roku version of Vue is pretty bland, blahh, and slimmed down. I'm hoping for an update soon.

I'm watching the Cubs game on two TVs - one on PS3 and one on Amazon Fire TV. The Fire TV is at least a minute behind the PS3... which is at least a minute behind regular TV. Any reason the Fire TV lags behind real time so much more? Any solutions?

I haven't really followed this thread, so these may have been answered already... sorry if so.
When you add a show to the cloud DVR, does it only start giving you shows after you added it, or does it let you watch the shows back 28 days?
When you pause a live show, can you FF when you start watching again, or are the only options to just start it back and sit through commercials, or jump back to live? Or does it vary by channel? I tend to stop and start a lot while watching football, and it would suck to have to either watch commercials/halftime, or miss some of the game jumping back to live.

There may be a work around by just going to your "liked" shows (DVR) and start watching the recording from there. You might be able to pause longer since it is listed as a recording.

I still haven't used dvr. So many channels offer on demand video I just haven't needed it.
