Need help with Fire Tv. Just hooked it up in the mbr. Live tv isn't playing on Vue. At least not on the 6 or 7 channels I tried watching. Everything I have saved in my shows works fine. No problems with HBOGO or Netflix. Only live tv on Vue.

Do you not understand that Playstation Vue is a subscription service that has ZERO to do with the ISP companies?
Of course I understand that.

Strongly considering making the switch to PS Vue.
Looks like the best option for me is Fire TV (not stick) and then setting up rabbit ears for ABC, CBS, etc.
In my limited research, I haven't been able to find answers to a few questions:
I see you can simultaneously stream on 5 devices. You cannot simultaneously watch live TV on more than one TV, correct? But you can watch a football game live on ESPN on your TV AND watch a football game live on your iPhone on ESPN2?
How is the channel selection on the iPhone? I can watch live ESPN games through PS Vue Mobile on my phone, right? Do I have to be at my home location to stream on my phone or can I stream on my phone at a friend's house down the road?

I think you would have to use different profiles to watch differing things, but it takes about 2 seconds to set one up. Honestly, I have never really tried to watch the same thing on two devices at the same time, but I think it prompts to turn one off when I have forgotten if I am not mistaken. Again, multiple profiles should solve.
ETA - don't have an iphone but Android app lets me watch outside of my network but most content may be limited.

Hold up....wha?
You can watch live tv on 5 different devices at the same time.
You cannot use PS Vue outside of your home, but you can use stand alone apps like Watch ESPN with your vue credentials anywhere.

Am I missing something here? I've never had any problems. I have FireTV in my living room and a fire stick in my bedroom and I've never gotten a message about anything. This has me questioning if I've never attempted to have them both on the same thing at the same time

Same boat. I could swear it has told me something, but have not really field tested to leave downstairs on and then go to my bedroom and turn it on as well (both Fire TVs). Guess what I'm doing when I get home?

Thanks for the answers though. The multiple profiles solution makes sense as does using standalone apps. Didn't realize you could use PS Vue credentials for that.

Yesir. This is awesome. I've had vue for about 4 months I guess. Maybe more. I'll answer any questions I can

We use PSVue on numerous TVs (up to 3 at a time). PSVue says in their disclaimer that you can NOT watch ESPN or the Disney channels on numerous TVs, however, I haven't tried.
A possible workaround to that would be to stream ESPN through the PSVue app and then to just use the WatchESPN app with your PSVue credentials... but still... I haven't tried it as we mainly just ESPN up on the big screen and call it a day.

Interesting and good to know. The funny part is, PSVue themselves state on their website that ESPN and Disney channels cannot be watched by numerous TVs under the same account. Weird.

Dunno where this is coming from but I watch ESPN on 3 different FireTV's pretty frequently.

I have psvue, and I bought an antenna for my local channels.I bought a Mohu leaf 60 mile, and it catches every channel but CBS.I've tried putting it in different spots in the house, but still can't catch it. I am getting pretty desperate at this point. I didn't know if anyone else in laffyette had the same prob.

You might have to put your antenna in the attic or higher. Make sure it's facing CBS.
The CBS station would not catch for me in Lafayette unless I had it in the attic.

Yea what vermillion said. I put an amlifier on mine too. CBS is the hardest for me to catch.

Thanks alot man. I put it in the attic and used an antenna compass, and it worked well.

So I can't get ABC with this damned antenna downstairs. Does anyone know if LSU game will also be streamed on ESPN or WatchESPN?
Posted on 8/31/16 at 6:55 am to iheartchimichangas
