If you don't mind my asking, did the website detect an incorrect zip code when you signed up in Maurice?

It was Abbeville, but the zip code it gave me was Delcambre, actually.

I haven't been home yet to confirm it, but I have a feeling that signing up with my phone this morning means that the phone's IP address is now attached to the account. So my home network will be seen as "a move"...
The other humorous part of this is Sony told me that they can manually reset a user's IP to match their system and get it working. But this can only be done for active subscriptions. So in my case I couldn't even sign up, so they could do nothing

It's a terrible system that they have going for them. No one can deny that.

I'm not giving up just yet.. I would assume that it just detects a lafayette zip code and redirects me to "not available in your area", but there are people in the area who have it - some with Cox internet

Sorry to thread jack with my own personal story .. but somehow, some way, my Vue trial is working on both PS3 and Fire TV.
My only guess is that my tech support request was escalated last night and they did something with my account

After the first day of my free trial, I cancelled my Directv service. The picture has been great and no streaming issues so far. Get all the channels we watch and saving about $75 a month. I shouldn't have waited this long.

They just rolled out the update for the fire tv that includes quick nav to previous channel and 60 fps...but the audio is not in sync with the video and that drives me crazy more than anything

I'll be very curious to see if I can tell an immediate difference when I have a chance to check it out.

Go to ESPN or any channel with a scrolling ticker at the bottom of the screen, if it's smooth then you're getting 60 fps. If it's jittery then you're at 30.
I'll say this, it seems to be real buggy. If you switch channels it automatically goes back to 30 fps and you have to restart the app. This is being confirmed on the Reddit page.
Also, if you're not getting the 60 fps the audio falls out of sync with the video...really bad

I think I read that you need to change your fire tv settings to 720 from 1080. That should be in your display settings.
Only way the 60 fps will work

YES!!
I had to do this on my Roku as well. Noticed the difference immediately.

Did that and it still goes back to 30 fps when you change the channel with the audio lagging
People on reddit confirm the same

Did anyone get the PS Vue coupon offer of a free 3 month upgrade to Core from Acccess?
It's been going around (Sony is giving them away, through email I assume) and I still haven't gotten one. Wondering what the deal is.

Not here.
Side note: for those of you that recommended just getting the Fire TV over the Fire stick...you were right. I have the first tv in my living room and have loved it for months. Just got the stick for my bedroom on prime day. Its slow as molasses.
