Just got a message that someone was trying to hack my phone! It led me to Adblocker on the App Store . Does this sound legit?

Sounds like you hit an ad for ad blocker to me.

No. It was from Apple . Not a text but a full screen just appeared stating a hack was being attempted and to follow the instructions by going to the App Store and download the app and follow the instructions.

I’d go to the Apple store or call Apple support to see if that is something they ever do. Scams have gotten so sophisticated.
