Outlook Email Question

Recently, Outlook starting asking for my email password for my linked gmail account almost daily. Never used to do that, it just started in the last week or two and I have no idea why. I have not adjusted any settings or done anything differently on my computer or accounts, so I have no idea why this is happening, but the notice keeps popping up and when it does, it cannot access my Outlook until I put the password in. It's getting to be a real pain in the arse.
Any thoughts on what is causing this and how to fix it?

unlinking gmail would probably fix it.

Have you changed your gmail password recently? Could also go into account settings and re-enter/update gmail password then “test account” once done.

Opening through Outlook add-on, or web browser? Is your web browser set to clear cookies every time you close the window?

This happened to me months ago. Now when I enter the password in it gives me an error saying that the browser I'm using doesn't support JavaScript or has it turned off. This is coming from Microsoft outlook running on my computer, not through a website. Very strange.
I have yet to figure out a fix for it. My outlook account that is connected still works, but my two gmail accounts connected do not work. Has been since June. Very frustrating. Now I just keep the Gmail tabs open in my browser and answer emails through there.
I'd love to find a solution!

Might just have to delete the gmail accounts from your outlook profile and re-add fresh and see if it functions normally. I cant say that ive ever added gmail account to outlook profile….

I’ve done this. Doesn’t change. Very odd as I have had this set up for years now.
