Onkyo receiver won’t connect via Bluetooth

I’ve been having my Onkyo receiver (RZ720) for about a year and a half. Tried connecting via Bluetooth from my iPhone last week and wouldn’t connect. Tried unplugging and plugging back. I did a firmware update. Reinstalled the app from my iPhone, with no luck. Crazy thing is that I Forget This Device from my phone, and when I push the Bluetooth button on my phone , it recognizes the receiver. But won’t connect still.

did you go into the bluetooth settings on the receiver and delete your phone and then turn on pairing? thats what I had to do on my onkyo (different model than yours)

Yep, checked this and it’s still not pairing. It’s still under warranty. May try to have it replaced.
