Old Man Jeep / Sirius XM Question

How do I change stations in my presets without scrolling through every station?
I have my presets set. If i use the scroll button behind the steering wheel, it cycles through all stations, not just my presets.
This is a 2024 Wrangler.
Technology has passed me up.

Most radios you have to scroll to the station you want then press one of the pre set buttons and hold it for a couple seconds. Usually it will beep and then your good.

I don't know, but when I have an issue like this I often turn to YouTube.
Several promising videos came up for "how to cycle through preset stations on 2024 jeep wrangler". Maybe one of them will address your specific issue.

Open AI looks to have a good answer. Sounds like you are using the rocker switch (seek; goes through all channels) when you should use the center button to cycle through presets only.
I asked it, "how can I cycle through my preset XM radio stations on a 2024 jeep wrangler?"
It said:
Using the Steering Wheel Controls
Based on the Wrangler Owner’s Manual:
On the left side of the steering wheel (rear surface) there’s a rocker-switch + a button in the center.
The rocker (up/down) does seek up or down through channels (i.e. move to the next/previous SXM channel).
The center button on that same left cluster switches to the next preset you have saved. So if you have, say, 5 preset XM channels, pressing the middle button repeatedly cycles through those 5.
What’s the Difference: Seek vs Preset?
Seek Up/Down = goes channel-by-channel through all available SXM channels.
Preset (center button) = jumps through *only the channels you’ve saved as presets.
So depending on whether you want to just flip through your favorites, or scan through everything, you’ll use a different control.
If you tell me what exact trim and screen size you have (e.g. Uconnect 4, 7-inch screen vs larger), I can verify where your controls are and maybe send you a picture.

It's a Stellantis vehicle. Be careful programming the radio because it might brick your vehicle.
I'm only half joking

Twenty 49 - there is a center button between the switches. That works.
Thank you !
Thank you !

Electronics is why I bought a GMC instead of a Ram truck earlier this year. Ram trucks have two batteries because of the electrical load and many are still dying overnight.

Good that you're not having issues but a simple Google search will back up my statement. I wasn't willing to take the chance on a 2025 Ram. What year is yours?

Current one is a 24. Had a 21 before that. I read the 5th gen forums and don't recall seeing anything like this.

The middle button behind the left side of the steering wheel is what i use to scroll through my presets on my Rubicon.

This is the correct answer and you can have 2 rows of pre-sets.
