Well, the price should have ended in .06, so it will drop to $25 shortly and you can return/rebuy.

Within 8 hours of my schlage giving a low battery warning, it was dead, and i had to use a key to get back in. Something has to be wrong witht this thing. Can't be more than 3 months since my last battery swap

I've got 5 of these in my house. All five are experiencing the same issues. Really starting to piss me off. Fortunately, they have yet to all die at the same time. But they definitely eat up some batteries.

I went to the one by my house in sugar land, and they had several at 59.06. Guess I will just keep checking over the next few days.

price drops usually happen at some point Monday (at least after 6:30 am) from my experience.

I've had plenty of issues with my c by ge bulbs and app. So I contacted GE to bitch already knowing that the bitching would not result in anything, but would make me feel better .

Since I had their attention I took the time to ask about updates and such. Here is the response I received, in case anyone is interested.

"We are already working on updates for different compatibility with other Smart Home products. And within the next couple of weeks, the update will be going thru that will allow capability with scheduling/alarm clock, along with a 'ramping' feature, that will allow the bulb(s) a gradual brightness when turned on."

Working in software dev myself I can tell you that "within the next couple of weeks" likely means 6 months, but I figured I'd contribute any word that I did get from them.

yep. Easier to use the light switch than find the phone and fire up the app.

Damn near useless right now.

I use all 4 because they remember their setting when you use the switch. Our C sleep bulbs are in the lamps next to the bed at a night light #3. One day bulb is in the shitter at the lowest setting so that my early morning duties can be done with minimal damage to my pupils. And our other day bulb is above the sink in the kitchen. It stays at brightness 4 most of the time unless I am tinkering with something, then I'll crank it up.

It will definitely be better when they work with a hub, but for now, they work great for lights that I would not automate anyway.
