In the process of building a new home (subtle brag )

I’m wanting to do a couple of cameras, probably just two, onefor the front drive and one for backyard.

I have nest thermostats and was wanting to stay in that ecosystem but don’t really like their cameras.

I’m leaning towards a ring spotlight (hard wire) for the front and a ring floodlight (hardwire) for the back.

Anyone have these or have recommendations for
Me? My thought with going with WiFi is will that they will be old tech in a year or so but that may be the case for any system.

I’ll probably add a nest or ring doorbell as well.

Go with the nest cams. They work great..only con is the cost of the dvr service.

The only problem I have with the nest cams is that I won’t have a receptacle to plug them in in the locations wanted.

I guess I could add receptacles at this point.

The rings can be hard wired in.

This. I have 11 POE cameras and ran the Ethernet while building.
