the seller stated that everything is pre-wired for sound and wifi, I can do some basic stuff but I really probably a media or tech guy in the BR area. I would need suggestions on receiver (# of zones etc). The seller left the outside speakers, i'm interested in setting up a tv outside (not wired currently).
Thanks.

How many rooms are wired for speakers? Do all of the cables go to a central location?

Wifi is wireles, cant "pre-wire" that. Maybe you meant the house has ethernet cables run throughout.

Would need more information for the audio. How many wires are currently at the origination point (i.e. where the receiver should go)? If it is only wired for outside speakers, then you would only be able to get music outside without running more speaker wire to where you want your surround sound speakers.

You could run wires for access points

Wifi is not wired. May have ethernet cable run and just used the wrong term.

If you know exactly where you want your tv then I would make sure you have an outlet positioned where the cords will be hidden.

If you plan on wall mounting than have a recessed outlet put in where the tv will cover it.

If you can be more specific about the house and what you plan on doing you will get more help.

Such as: wall mount tv with a cabinet below for audio/bluray/games in livingroom, home office in bedroom etc.

Set up your house the way you want it and move cables, electrical, etc you will be happier in the end.
